I was talking on the phone with one of my friends the other night when she complained about the high prices of almost everything in the market nowadays. For her, going out shopping or even doing the usual groceries is already getting more stressful because she's finding it hard to make ends meet with the measly budget she has and the rising prices of commodities and other basic necessities.
This friend of mine is a single mother and I understand her predicament, especially her gargantuan task of raising two teenage boys on her own and ensuring that they have enough to pay their apartment rent so that they don't find themselves out in the street.
As our phone conversation drifted to other topics, I found out what's stressing her out more than the skyrocketing prices of commodities. She's exceptionally gaga now because her eldest son's prom is coming up and this is sure to take toll on her dwindling budget. She doesn't have the heart to ask her son not to go because he's already so ecstatic about the prom. He had summoned all his nerves one day and asked his crush to go to the prom with him and, to his biggest surprise, the girl said yes!
My friend told me about that day her son came home with the most amazing smile on his face and with a gait that made him look like he was floating rather than walking on hard ground. He came straight to the kitchen where she was, hugged her tightly, and planted a dramatically loud kiss on her cheek. When she asked him what it was all about, he gushed on how he was sure to be the happiest guy in the world because his crush agreed to go with him to the prom.
Upon hearing the word "prom" from her Nike Tn beaming son, my friend said a crease of worry must've have momentarily crossed her face but she immediately brushed it off and let herself be smothered by her son's contagious joy. She returned his hug and promised him that the prom would be the best time of his life.
And that promise is what's stressing her out the most. She already found a tuxedo rental that would fit in her budget, but she's particularly worried about the dress shoes she needs to buy to match her son's prom suit. She had visited several malls and shoe stores in search for formal shoes that weren't too expensive, but her canvassing only got her even more depressed.
I feel for this friend of mine, and I'm quite fond of her son who is such a sweet and adorable boy, so I'm thinking of helping her with her problem by buying the prom shoes they need. I don't want it look like a dole out so I'll just tell my friend that it's my prom gift for her son.
I know how expensive dress shoes are, but there are discount codes I can find online that can give me the best bargain on quality shoes. I've seen some E.T.Wright coupon codes a few weeks back, and I'm hoping they're still available. I'm thinking of buying a Florsheim TN Pas Cher Men's Naples or a Florsheim Men's Bishop Oxford for my friend's son. I'll have to get his shoe size, or perhaps even talk to him Nike Tn separately and let him choose the exact pair of shoes he wants, before I can place the online order with E.T.Wright.
For now, I'll just look for some available E.T.Wright promotional codes which I can use once I have the shoe size and particular dress shoe design that I'll be ordering.
